The adult curriculum is designed for both beginning and experienced adult skaters (ages 18+) who wish to improve their skating skills. The main focus of this curriculum are the FUNdamentals of ice skating: Agility, Balance, Coordination and Speed. The Basic Skills curriculum is available to skaters ages 5-17 who are taking their first steps on the ice. Stinger 1-4 (ages 3 & 4): Skater on the ice by themselves.Parent/Tot (ages 3-5): Skater w/ a mature helper on the ice.“Learn to Skate” levels are returning to the Basic Skills class titles and descriptions.ĭesigned for kids 3-5 to build confidence while learning to skate incorporating fun and games. Once a child moves through the three-step introductory program, they will be ready to join an organized hockey league. “Learn to Play and Hockey Prep” have been replaced by Hockey 1, Hockey 2 & Hockey 3.
